Far West residents invited to have their say on the future of local transport

People living in Tibooburra and the Unincorporated Area in the state’s far west are being invited to take part in a survey to discuss the future of transport in their area.
Transport for NSW Regional Director West Alistair Lunn said the survey would help to plan, prioritise and trial potential transport services in some of the state’s most remote towns.
“We're interested in hearing what the people living in Tibooburra, Packsaddle, Silverton and Milparinka think about the local transport services currently available to them, as well as gaps and opportunities in their communities,” Mr Lunn said.
“We are talking about communities in some of the most isolated parts of the state where access to essential services could be difficult and we are urging community members to complete a short survey to help us understand their transport needs.”
Residents in Tibooburra, Silverton, Milparinka and Packsaddle can take part in the survey online by visiting https://www.haveyoursay.nsw.gov.au/tibooburra-broken-hill-transport from May 6-20.
A hard copy of the survey will be available from the Silverton Village Committee and The Tibooburra Hotel.
